- SearchNearMe.com is a rapidly growing website dedicated to helping the global community find or promote what they're looking for or offering, for free.
- 2. Why would I use SearchNearMe.com?
- Well, for a start, we really are free!
But seriously, if you're tired of signing up with websites that are "free to join" only to find that once inside you need to reach for your purse or wallet in order to do anything useful, then SearchNearMe.com is the website for you. There is no need to "upgrade your membership" (we only have one membership level, and that's free), and no recurring fees whacking your credit card on a monthly basis (no fees ever).
If you're tired of spending up every time you want to have a garage sale to sell off those things collecting dust around the house, or perhaps to sell your car, or house - then SearchNearMe.com is for you.
And then there's all those free websites - one for this, one for that, some good, some not so good, some user-friendly, some impossible to figure out - but all different! There is no catch - it really is free. It costs nothing to join, nothing to add profiles, nothing to search, and nothing to send messages to or receive messages from other members.

- A Profile contains information about someone or something. It is a way of promoting yourself (looking for a friend, date, or romance) or something you want to sell (a house, car, etc), a business, and event, and much more. Browse through the channels to see what sorts of profiles you can create on SearchNearMe.com.
- 6. What is a Channel?
- A "channel" is part of the website where you can list or search profiles of a similar type. For example, the "People Channel" currently has personal profiles for friendships, dating, and romance, whereas the "Real-Estate Channel" has profiles for listing property for sale, rent, and so on.
